Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert on the last Friday of each month (Jan-Nov) at 1pm at St John’s Church Hall: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café open from 12.15pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music. It’s c£3.50 for a drink and a cake.
March’s programme is inspired by the season of spring and includes the recently rediscovered Trio by Austrian Jewish composer Carl Frühling, Gaubert Spring Morning and works by Cécile Chaminade, Ivor Gurney, Frank Bridge and others.
