The Church, including the tower, will be open to visitors.
The Church was built mainly in the 1200s and 1300s, and underwent a major restoration in Victorian times. There are many memorials and other historic features. The 17th-century tower has a fine ring of bells and, from the top, far-reaching views across Keynsham.
The number of people in the tower at any one time is limited so, if you would like to ascend the tower, you are strongly advised to pre-book, otherwise it is first come, first served. Ascent to the very top is also “weather permitting”. There are 118 steps to the top, so you need to be suitably fit. Please wear sensible shoes. The minimum age is 8 years old.
- Venue: 1 The Park, Keynsham, BS31 2BL
- Dates/Times: Saturday 17 September, 2pm – 4.30pm
- Booking: Booking advised if you wish to ascend the tower. Contact Keynsham Parish Office, 0117 9863354
